Speaker Bio
Since 2012, Dr. Brett Froeliger’s program of research has been continuously funded by the NIH. It is organized around using fMRI to evaluate the potential benefit of novel pharmacotherapies, behavioral interventions and non-invasive neural stimulation for treating substance-use disorder pathophysiology. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and reviews articles. He is the Associate Editor for Nicotine & Tobacco Research, Frontiers in Psychiatry and Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Dr. Froeliger is dedicated to educating the next generation of addiction scientists, serving as a mentor on multiple NIH career development and fellowship awards.
